EVENTS - OPEN & CLUB
​The Jailhouse Snooker Hub run a series of events throughout the year, including weekly competition on Tuesday afternoon (Over 55's), Thursday evening (Club night) and Friday afternoon (Competition).​ A teams event, the Crucible Trophy, is run on Monday night from April to August. A pairs/teams event, the Embassy Pairs, is also run on Monday night from September to October. Club Championships are also run throughout the year, with Interclubs against Nelson clubs. The main tournaments of the year are the Top of the South Pairs (May), the Bob Henderson Memorial (July) and the 'Sunshine Classic' (November).

TOP OF THE SOUTH PAIRS (2024)
Marlborough Snooker & Billiards Incorporated will hold the Top of the South Snooker Pairs Tournament at the Jailhouse Snooker Hub, First Lane, Blenheim on the 25th and 26th May. Tournament Completed. Fee $100.00 per pair. Entries close 20th May. Entries will be through Website www.snooker-marlborough.com Entry fees to be deposited into ANZ bank account 06 0601 0298949 02, adding name as reference.
THE SUNSHINE CLASSIC (2024)
Marlborough Snooker & Billiards Incorporated will hold the Sunshine Classic Snooker Tournament at the Jailhouse Snooker Hub, First Lane, Blenheim on the 15th to 17th November. Entries open through N Z Billiards & Snooker . Fee $100. Entries will close when first 40 paid entries received.

MARLBOROUGH SNOOKER PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP (2024)
The Marlborough Snooker Pairs Championship will be held on Sunday 5th May starting at 8.30am. Entries on Club snooker room noticeboard or through this website, Entries close Thursday, 2nd May.
Entry $20 on day.
COM PINS CHAMPIONSHIP (2022)
The Clubs of Marlborough Pins Championship will be held on Thursday 11th August & Thursday 18th August starting at 7.15pm. Entries on Club snooker room noticeboard or through this website. Entries close Monday, 8th August.
NEW FORMAT ELITE (A), FLYTE (B), AND PLATE (C) CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS (2022)
New format last year. Not a straight knockout tournament anymore. The top third of section members on the ranking list which closes in October after Embassy Pairs each year will be eligible to play in the Elite Championship (A). The next third will be eligible in the Flyte Championship (B) and the bottom third will be eligible to play in the Plate Championship (C). A seeded round robin section play will be played in each championship with the qualifiers going into post section knockout. The Finals will be played on Finals Day along with Hcp Snooker, Hcp Billiards and Super Cue as usual . $20 Entry Fee.
HANDICAP SNOOKER SINGLES & HANDICAP BILLIARDS (2024)
Snooker Hcp tournament will be on Sunday 15th and Billiards Hcp tournament will be on Sunday 29th September. Both Finals to be played on FINALS DAY Sunday 24th November.
Embassy Pairs
An old competition revived in 2016. Entered pairs graded into A, B, C and D grade and are then divided into teams to play off against each other over a period of weeks. Last year 16 pairs entered (put into 4 teams) played each other twice over 6 weeks. Prizes for top 2 pairs in each grade, top team and highest breaks. September-October. IN PLAY.
Monday 6.30pm (September to October)
55+ Competition
On throughout the year. Players play snooker, cricket and pins on alternate weeks. Weekly points from February to October. Last 9 weeks competition for trophies. All over 55's most welcome.
When:
Tuesday between 1-3.30pm
Crucible Trophy Competition
Played in teams of four against other teams. Each week teams play 4 singles and 2 doubles matches. Good competition. CURRENTLY IN PLAY.
